While a statement from Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Garrison & Wharton did not make direct connections between Karp and Epstein, Karp emphasized that “recent reporting has created a distraction” not conducive to the firm's interests, even as he remains committed to the firm where he has worked for 40 years.
