An Israeli drone fired four missiles at a Hamas‑run police station in the Jabalia area of northern Gaza, killing at least seven people, including a senior officer, officials say.
The attack occurred near a busy market, and witnesses reported heavy damage and loss of lives.
The Hamas‑controlled interior ministry called it a massacre, attributing the fatalities to the strike’s targeting of terrorists as confirmed by Israeli officials.
Other casualties were reported in southern Gaza, including an air strike that killed a man and injured three, and gunfire that killed a 10‑year‑old boy in Rafah.
Both Israel and Hamas are accusing each other of violating the ceasefire that began last October, with Gaza’s health ministry reporting over 1,110 Israeli‑fire related deaths.
The conflict began after the Hamas‑led attack in southern Israel on 7 October 2023, which killed about 1,200, prompting the Israeli campaign that has so far killed more than 73,230 people in Gaza.
