As a consequence, travelers on routes connecting London, Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam are experiencing last-minute cancellations and long delays. Affected passengers will be allowed to adjust their travel arrangements at no extra cost or can request a full refund.
"We're very sorry for the impact this is having on our customers," Eurostar expressed in its official statement, emphasizing efforts to collaborate with French authorities and infrastructure teams to ensure safe operations and restore normal services. Currently, only one track has reopened, permitting limited train services until repairs are expected to conclude around 16:00 BST. To assist passengers stuck on delayed trains, water is being distributed onboard, while station congestion remains high.
