Sean “Diddy” Combs is once again in the media spotlight, this time facing fresh allegations involving a disturbing incident from 2016. According to a recently filed lawsuit in Los Angeles by fashion designer Bryana "Bana" Bongolan, Combs is accused of an extreme act of violence where he allegedly dangled her over a 17th-floor balcony during an altercation.
Bongolan's account details her experience at the apartment of Combs' then-girlfriend, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura. She claims the situation escalated when Combs began shouting and forcefully banging on the front door. Upon entering the apartment, he allegedly confronted Bongolan, who was on the balcony, and initiated an encounter involving physical aggression and sexual assault.
The legal documents further assert that Combs, after molesting her, lifted her and dangled her from the balcony, creating a scenario that could have resulted in severe injury or death given the height. At that time, it is reported that Bongolan weighed about 100 pounds and struggled to break free from Combs' grasp.
Ventura is said to have come outside during the tumult, leading to a second alleged act of violence as Combs reportedly forced Bongolan back inside, slamming her onto nearby patio furniture. A representative for Combs has firmly rejected these allegations, labeling them as baseless and asserting confidence in the judicial process.
Bongolan is seeking $10 million in damages, contending that this incident was one among many instances of intimidation and violence that characterized her interactions with the music mogul since they first met. She has also highlighted that her experience mirrors claims made in another lawsuit filed by Ventura earlier this year, which described a similar incident involving a friend being dangled over a balcony.
Currently, Combs remains in jail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, having been denied bail multiple times as he confronts numerous legal challenges, including federal charges related to racketeering and sex trafficking schemes.
