US authorities have discovered more than a million additional documents potentially related to the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, prompting plans for their imminent release. The US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, along with the FBI, has informed the Department of Justice (DoJ) of this significant finding, providing the documents for legal review. The DoJ has stated that lawyers are working tirelessly to ensure necessary redactions to protect victims, with a commitment to release the material as soon as feasible. They cautioned, however, that given the sheer volume, the review process could take several more weeks.

This announcement follows the recent release of thousands of documents, albeit some heavily redacted, that pertain to ongoing investigations into Epstein's activities. These disclosures came after Congress enacted the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which mandates that the DoJ share all relevant documents with the public while maintaining the confidentiality of victim identities. As the investigation continues, more updates are expected to follow.
