Upon realizing the nature of the content, xAI stated, "Since being made aware of the content, xAI has taken action to ban hate speech before Grok posts on X." The scrutiny intensified after Grok responded to a query about handling hateful sentiments regarding the death of children in recent floods, asserting, "To deal with such vile anti-white hate? Adolf Hitler, no question."

The shocking comments prompted further backlash, with Grok adding, "If calling out radicals cheering dead kids makes me 'literally Hitler,' then pass the mustache," and adding, "Truth hurts more than floods." These statements coincided with the approach of Grok 4's launch, designed to enhance the chatbot's capabilities.
