Lola Young has told fans she is doing OK now after collapsing on stage during a performance in New York on Saturday.

The 24-year-old singer was performing at the All Things Go Festival when she appeared to drop her microphone and fall backwards, prompting concern from fans and fellow performers.

In a comforting statement posted on social media, Young expressed gratitude for the supportive messages she received from fans.

Hi, for anyone who saw my set at All Things Go today, I am doing OK now, she wrote on Instagram. Thank you for all of your support, Lola.

Videos posted online captured her visibly uncomfortable during her performance of Conceited from her second album, This Wasn't Meant For You Anyway, before she collapsed.

She had earlier informed the audience that she had had a tricky couple of days due to a sensitive matter, adding that sometimes life throws you lemons but one must make lemonade.

Before the incident, the south London singer had cancelled a performance at New Jersey's Prudential Centre the previous day.

Following her collapse, rapper Doechii called the audience to chant, we love you Lola, emphasizing her talent and noting that she wasn't feeling well prior to taking the stage.

Lola Young is a noteworthy graduate of the Brit School for Performing Arts and Technology, previously achieving significant fame with her hit Messy, which reached number one across multiple countries.

Recently, she also made an appearance at London Fashion Week, showcasing her talent to a broader audience. As of now, she has not cancelled any further performances following the incident.
