Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected President Donald Trump’s 15‑point Gaza plan, saying Israel will not withdraw forces until Hamas is genuinely disarmed.
The U.S. Board of Peace claims it has reached an agreement for the complete disarmament of Hamas and other Gaza‑based armed groups.
Hamas says it would surrender heavy weapons only after Israel ends all forms of aggression and pulls back its forces.
Israeli airstrikes on Gaza have continued since a ceasefire in October, with the military stating it will maintain operations until all threats are neutralised.
Netanyahu highlights the political context, noting that far‑right allies have signalled resistance to the plan and that upcoming elections make concessions unlikely.
