In the village of Tal in the northern West Bank, a vicious shooting erupted early on Sunday, claiming the lives of four Palestinians and two Israelis. The incident has been described by some as the deadliest single attack in the region in recent months.
Palestinian sources report that local residents confronted a group of about 30 Jewish settlers who were assaulting homes. They say the clash escalated when Israeli soldiers arrived, leading to a chaotic gunfight between settlers and the villagers.
