US actress Carla Jeffery, known for the role of Bree in Disney Channel’s Zombies and its two sequels, passed away at 33.
Her agent, Carla Alexander, lauded her as a beautiful, vibrant and talented woman whose radiant smile could light up any room.
Jeffery’s career included the cheerleader role in Zombies and later in Zombies 2 and 3, as well as a recurring part on Curb Your Enthusiasm following the Black family that moved in with Larry David.
No cause of death has yet been announced.
The management company, Alexanders Talent, shared a heartfelt post on Instagram stating: Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our beloved Carla Jeffery. For more than 20 years, Carla was part of Alexanders Talent Management family and watching her grow from a talented young girl into the radiant woman and actress she became was an incredible privilege. We will remember her infectious smile, her laughter, her talent, and the beautiful light she carried everywhere she went. Our deepest love and condolences are with Carla’s family and loved ones. We ask that their privacy be respected during this incredibly difficult time. Rest beautifully, Carla. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Jeffery’s twin brother Carlon, also an actor, posted a message and photos on his own platform, urging her to keep shining and praising her resilience and grace. His message read: Hey Sis, call me back when you get this. I was just calling to see how your day went! I love you to the moon and back sis. I just want you to know how proud I am of you. Your resilience, your grace, your infectious smile that lights up a room. You are truly a light that shines bright.
Co‑stars Chandler Kinney (Willa) wrote that Carla’s loss didn’t feel real, noting she brought “effervescence” and “sparkly” positivity to her character. Milo Manheim (Zed) shared photos with the caption: Love you Carlaboo, the sweetest, kindest, most loving person.
