Zayn Malik has announced a week-long residency in Las Vegas in January 2026. The former One Direction singer has only toured solo once since leaving the band, during last year's Stairway to the Sky shows.

Posting on Instagram, the artist confirmed that he would be performing at the Dolby Live venue at the Park MGM Hotel. This announcement aligns him with prominent artists like Adele, Bruno Mars, and Lady Gaga, who have all held successful residencies in Las Vegas.

Although Zayn's residency may be shorter than others, fans have been buzzing online with suggestions that this could signal a much-anticipated comeback. The singer, originally from Bradford, England, generated more excitement recently when he was seen in the US alongside former bandmate Louis Tomlinson, sparking speculation of a possible collaboration or new music.

This appearance marks one of the few public sightings of the pair since One Direction's hiatus in 2015, the other being at former bandmate Liam Payne's funeral last year. Zayn also recently released a new song, 'Break Free', tied to the video game Borderlands 4.

Known as a devoted gamer, Zayn shared in an interview that when he's not working or spending time with his daughter, he enjoys gaming with friends back in the UK.

The announcement of his Vegas residency caught many fans off guard, as Zayn has previously expressed struggles with live performances, notably apologizing to fans in 2016 after pulling out of a show due to anxiety. Recently, he discussed overcoming anxiety on the podcast Call Her Daddy following the birth of his daughter.

Tickets for Zayn's Las Vegas shows will go on general sale starting Friday.
