Ontario Police Charge Woman With 65 Offences for Hospital Theft Spree

Police in Ontario, Canada, have charged a 34‑year‑old woman with 65 offences, including fraud and theft, for allegedly pilfering from patients and staff across five health care facilities.


The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) identified the suspect, Nassim Eronn of Burlington, and traced a theft spree that began in February 2024 and continued to March 2026. OPP says the woman worked in multiple hospitals, taking items ranging from clothing to household goods, as well as fraudulent payments claimed on patients’ accounts.


She faces 34 counts of fraud under $5,000, 13 counts of theft under $5,000, seven counts of disobeying a court order, plus charges of breach of trust and impersonation. Search warrants uncovered significant quantities of property, seized during operations across the province.


The investigation covers Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Headwaters Health Care Centre, Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital, St. Joseph's Health Centre, and West Park Health Care Centre. The OPP is urging anyone with information or financial records showing irregularities to come forward.
