Andrew Tate Faces Serious Allegations of Rape and Gun Threat in U.K. Lawsuit
Four women are suing Andrew Tate, alleging sexual assault and threats made during encounters in England from 2013 to 2015.
Andrew Tate, a controversial online influencer renowned for his polarizing views, finds himself embroiled in serious legal troubles in the U.K. He is accused of raping two women and threatening one with a gun in a civil lawsuit filed in Britain's High Court last June. The case is drawing attention ahead of a scheduled hearing in London on April 15.
The claims come from four British women who allege that Tate's abusive behavior occurred while he resided in England between 2013 and 2015. They have accused him of multiple instances of choking, with two of the complainants alleging that Tate raped them, one of whom was previously employed in his webcam business.
One woman recounted that while working for Tate in 2015, he assaulted her and upended her safety by brandishing a gun, claiming dominance with statements like, "I’m a boss" and "You’re going to do as I say, or there’ll be hell to pay." Another woman, who had a personal relationship with Tate beginning in 2013, described being raped on two separate occasions. The notion of physical harm has been echoed among all four women, with reports of choking so severe that it resulted in visible trauma such as red spots in their eyes, indicating bleeding capillaries.
Tate has publicly and legally denied all allegations, asserting that any sexual encounters were consensual. These incidents, taking place during a time when he was actively engaging in controversial public behavior, have raised significant questions about his conduct and the broader implications regarding allegations of sexual violence.
