Germany's Teenagers Arrested for Domestic Terrorism Linked to Neo-Nazi Group

In a concerning escalation of youth involvement in extremist activities, German authorities have detained five teenagers associated with a neo-Nazi group that orchestrated attacks on buildings housing asylum seekers. The German police conducted early morning raids across several states, leading to the arrests of the teenagers, aged between 14 and 18. These individuals are reportedly key members of a recently formed organization called the Last Wave of Defense, which has been linked to multiple arson incidents targeting facilities for asylum seekers. Initially established the previous year, the group's activities come amid a surge in politically motivated crimes not seen in almost two decades.

Prosecutors stated that among those apprehended, two are facing serious charges of attempted murder and arson, with all suspects being minor-aged.
