The House Oversight Committee has released a batch of around 70 photos from the estate of late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. It's the third such release from a tranche of over 95,000 photos the committee has acquired from Epstein's estate. The release comes hours before the December 19 deadline for the Department of Justice to disclose all files related to its investigation into Epstein.

Democratic committee member Robert Garcia emphasized that these new images raise more questions about what the DOJ has in its possession. The latest set includes photos of significant individuals such as Noam Chomsky, Bill Gates, Steve Bannon, and Sergey Brin, creating a spotlight on Epstein's extensive network.

Some images controversially depict quotes from the book 'Lolita' written across a woman's body, which the committee argues provides transparency into Epstein’s disturbing activities.

The photographs also reveal redacted passports and identification documents from several countries, highlighting the potential international dimensions of Epstein’s network. In a statement, the committee mentioned that it received these materials under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, signed by President Trump last month.

This document release follows years of investigation into Epstein’s activities, which included allegations of trafficking minors and exploiting vulnerable individuals in sex crimes.
