### Popemobile Transformed into Mobile Clinic for Children in Gaza

Caritas Jerusalem, the charity organization managing the transition, confirmed that the vehicle would be equipped with necessary medical supplies, including rapid tests, suture kits, syringes, oxygen supplies, vaccines, and a refrigerator for medications.

This initiative responds to Pope Francis's final wish for the well-being of Gaza’s children before his passing last month. The vehicle is currently positioned in Bethlehem, pending the reopening of humanitarian access from Israel to Gaza.

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas has resulted in grave repercussions, including the deaths of over 15,000 children, as reported by UNICEF, alongside the displacement of almost one million individuals. The blockade imposed by Israel has confined essential resources, leaving affected families in desperate need of food, clean water, and medical assistance.

Caritas spokesperson Peter Brune expressed hope that the mobile clinic would promptly reach children who are currently without healthcare, particularly those suffering from injuries or malnutrition. "We are prepared to provide care the moment we get the green light to enter Gaza," he stated, emphasizing the critical need for this intervention.

A dedicated medical team, alongside a driver, will operate the clinic, which is designed for both the examination and treatment of patients. Discussions are ongoing to ensure the vehicle's safety in light of potential dangers during its operations.
