Former Model Alleges Groping Incident Involving Trump and Epstein
Stacey Williams recounts alleged unwanted advances by Donald Trump during a meeting facilitated by Jeffrey Epstein in the 1990s.
A former model has come forward with allegations of inappropriate conduct involving Donald Trump during a meeting arranged by disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein in the 1990s. In a recent interview with CNN, Stacey Williams detailed an incident from 1993 at Trump Tower in New York City, during which she claims that Trump groped her soon after being introduced.
Williams states that upon meeting Trump, he quickly pulled her close, "His hands were just on me and didn’t come off," she recounted, indicating that his hands moved across various parts of her body while Trump and Epstein conversed nearby. The experience, she described as “an out of body experience,” left her feeling paralyzed in the moment.
The Trump campaign, however, has swiftly rejected Williams's accusations, framing them as a politically motivated distraction, particularly as they originally emerged during a campaign event for Democratic nominee Kamala Harris. Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt accused the Harris campaign of fabricating the story to divert attention from damaging allegations against Harris's husband, Doug Emhoff, who has been accused of an incident involving an ex-girlfriend.
Emhoff has denied the allegations made against him, which have not been publicly substantiated. Meanwhile, the Trump campaign continues to assert that claims of sexual misconduct made against the former president are unfounded.
Ranging from allegations against Trump since he began his presidential campaign in 2016 to a recent civil case where he was found liable for sexual abuse against writer E. Jean Carroll, these accusations have sparked ongoing public debate. Carroll has also successfully won defamation suits against Trump following his derogatory comments.
As the 2024 election draws near, these allegations introduce further complexities into the political landscape, as both parties navigate the ramifications of such claims against their candidates.
