Ukraine Escalates Conflict with Major Drone Strikes on Russian Air Bases

In a dramatic increase of military tensions, Ukraine executed one of its most expansive strikes against Russian air bases to date, employing drones in a coordinated assault from eastern Siberia to the western border. This operation resulted in several aircraft being set ablaze. The strike comes on the heels of a deadly Russian missile attack on a Ukrainian military training facility, which claimed the lives of at least 12 soldiers. This attack occurred shortly after Russia intensified its aerial operations with what Ukrainian officials described as the largest overnight bombardment of the conflict to date.
